In August 2009, we spent an all too short two and half days touring Gettysburg PA.
Of course, Gettysburg is well known as one of the most famous battlegrounds of the
Amercian Civil War. The battle was fought July 1-3, 1863 in and around the
town of Gettysburg. This battle, with the largest number of casualties in the
American Civil War, is often described as the war's turning point.
